The Android app

As a direct download (APK) today, on Google Play as soon as the review is complete. One button in the center: press it, place the phone close to the voices, and the minutes arrive by email.

What it gives you
01

The whole room

In-person meetings: the phone's microphone picks up every participant around the table.

02

Online meetings, too

Put them on speaker: it picks up the other participants and your voice.

03

The screen can turn off

Put the phone away: the app keeps recording for the whole session.

04

A dropped network stops nothing

After a first online launch, it opens and records offline. Meetings are kept on the phone, several in a row if need be, and leave on their own when the connection returns.

For which meetings
  • Meetings in a room without a computer: the phone in the middle of the table.
  • Field work, travel, areas where the network comes and goes.
  • A call or a video conference followed on speaker.
Good to know
  • Android 8.0 or later.
  • The same account as on the site: your minutes, your template, and your balance are shared.
Download and install

Install

  1. On the phone, tap Download — or scan the QR code opposite from a computer.
  2. Open the Rapporteur.apk file. Android asks you to allow this source, then offers “Install anyway”: that is true of any APK downloaded outside Google Play. The Google Play version, currently under review, will install without any question.
  3. Open Rapporteur and sign in with your account.
  4. Do this first launch with the network on: from then on, the app also works offline.

Scan this code with your phone: it opens the download.
